ABEDEV, CEDC submits a petition to Busia’s Clerk of the County Assembly

Abenengo, CEDC together with allied CSOs are thrilled to be invited by the Busia County Directorate of public administration to review the Busia County Public Participation bill 2024 for tabling to the County Assembly.

Earlier in February this year, ABEDEV, CEDC and other CSOs submitted a petition to the clerk of the county assembly seeking to revive this particular bill, tabling in the assembly and passing it into an act to guide public participation and civic engagement in the county.
